Get A Quote for WordPress plugin helps you add a quotation form on your WordPress website. Users can fill this form to submit a Request for Quotation(RFQ) for the service they’re interested in. As soon as the user fills out and submit the form, he/she receives an email regarding the successful submission of the quotation request. Merchants can then send a quotation to the customer with all the details and change the quotation status accordingly. They can also add multiple statuses and can provide multiple services using this plugin.


Automatic Installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option handled by WordPress. For this:

  1. Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
  2. On the left panel of your dashboard, navigate to Plugins > Add New.
  3. Click on the Upload Plugin button on the top.
  4. Hit the Choose File button and choose the .zip file, and click on Install Now.
  5. Once Installed, Activate the plugin.

Manual Installation

Manual installation of the plugin is another option to install the plugin in your WordPress-environment. The manual installation method involves downloading our Get A Quote for WordPress plugin and uploading it to the web server via their favourite FTP application.

The steps for manual installation are as follows:

  1. Upload the Get A Quote for WordPress folder to the /WP-content/plugins/directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.

1. Enable Quote Form

This toggle allows you to enable/disable the Get A Quote plugin. Simply click on the toggle button to enable or disable the plugin for your WordPress website.

2. Enable Redirection After Submission

If you want to send users to another page after they submit the quotation form, select Yes from this dropdown.

3. Redirection Page

Once you’ve selected yes, you can choose what page you want to redirect users to. After they submit the form successfully, they’ll be redirected to the selected page.

Click on Save Changes after to make sure the changes reflect.

4.Form Fields

This setting provides you a quotation form. You can add this form on your website through a shortcode and the users will be able to fill it to submit a quotation request. You can add this form by simply adding a shortcode [gaq_form_fields] on any page of your website. Moreover, you can also edit the form fields by clicking on Edit. Once you click on edit, you will get a window where you can select the fields you want to update in your quotation form.

1. Enable Quote Status

Through this setting, you can Enable or Disable the status of your quotation. For instance you’ve created 3 different statuses for your quotations, a) Viewing, b) Pending, c) Complete. If you disable this option, you won’t see any status in your quotation list.

2. Enable Service Type

Through this setting, you can Enable or Disable the service of your quotation. For instance you’ve created 3 different services for your quotations, a) Car, b) Credit Card, c) Digital Marketing Services. If you disable this option, you won’t see any of these services in your quotation list.

After tweaking the settings, click on Save Changes to update the changes.

Note: By default the plugin provides you 1 service and 1 status each which can’t be deleted and renamed.

6.Email Setting

This setting helps you to create an acknowledgement email for the users. This email will be sent to the users as soon as their quotation request gets successfully submitted.

1. Get reply on email 

In this field, you need to enter the email with which you want to communicate with the customer in future.

2. Email Subject 

In this field you need to enter the subject line of your email.

3. Email Message 

In this field, you can type the complete message of your email you want to send to the user to acknowledge them about the successful submission of their quotation request.

Once you type your message, click on Save Changes to save the message.


Our plugin comes with a shortcode [gaq_form_fields]. You can add this shortcode on any page  of your website to add the quotation on that page.

Yes. Our Get A Quote for WordPress plugin lets you add or remove fields from your quotation form. You can edit the form fields by going to the Form Fields section of the plugin and clicking on Edit. You will get an interface where you can add or remove the form fields and preview it before saving.

Yes. If you’ve enabled the Quote Status under the Taxonomies section of our Get A Quote for WordPress plugin, you’ll see the status of your quotations. To see the quote status, you need to go to your WordPress dashboard then navigate to Quotes. In this section you will see the status of every quotation.


Yes. You can create your own services through our Get A Quote plugin. For this, go to the plugin and navigate to Taxonomies and set the Enable Service Type option to Yes. Then you can add services as per your wish by clicking on the Add Service Terms button. 

Yes. With this quotation plugin, you can acknowledge users via email as soon as their quotation request is submitted successfully. For this you need to go to the Email Setting section of the plugin. There you can enter your email address, create your subject line and email message which will be delivered to the users on successful submission.
