Before you begin going through the documentation, here’s a brief explanation of the key terms that you will come across. This is to help you understand the usage of our app as clearly as possible. 

• Workflow: A workflow is a sequence of steps that automate a process across one or more apps. 
• Trigger: A trigger is the event that starts a workflow, such as a new record being created or a scheduled time being reached. 
• Action: An action is a task performed by the workflow after it starts, such as updating a record, sending a message, or creating a task. 
• Connector: A connector represents an app or platform (like HubSpot or Slack) that can be used in workflows. Connectors make triggers and actions available. 
• Connection: A connection is an authenticated link between MakeWebBetter Connect and an external app, allowing workflows and AI to access that app securely. 
• Run: A run is a single instance of a workflow being executed. Each time a workflow runs, it creates one run. Agentic AI: Agentic AI refers to AI that can evaluate context, make decisions, and execute actions dynamically instead of following fixed rules. 
• MCP (Model Context Protocol): MCP is a system that allows AI to safely execute real actions across connected tools within defined permissions. 
• MCP Server: An MCP Server defines what tools and actions AI is allowed to access and use during execution. 
• Todo: A todo is a task created by a workflow that requires human intervention, such as review or approval, before automation continues. 

You can sign up in just a few simple steps. 

• Choose how to sign up: You can either continue with your Google account or sign up using your email. 
• Fill in your details: Enter your first name, last name, and email address, then create a secure password.  
• Create your account: Click the Sign Up button to get started.  
• Verify your email: Check your inbox and click the verification link that is sent to you. 

Once your email is verified, you’ll be automatically redirected to the Home page onboarding screen, where you can explore the platform and learn how everything works.  

The Dashboard in MakeWebBetter Connect provides a quick overview of your project’s automation activity and usage. It helps you understand what’s running, how your workflows are performing, and how your resources are being used, all from one place. 

At the top of the dashboard, you’ll see a summary of key metrics:

• Total Workflows: Total number of workflows created in the project
  
• Active Workflows: Number of workflows currently running
  
• Total Connections: Number of apps connected to the project
  
• Recent Runs: Total workflow executions over a recent period 

Runs (Last 7 Days) 

This section shows a visual chart of workflow executions over the past 7 days. It helps you:

• Track automation activity over time
  
• Identify spikes or drops in workflow runs 

Usage Overview

The Usage Overview section displays:

• AI Credits used in the current billing cycle
  
• Your current plan

This helps you monitor resource usage and stay aware of plan limits.

MakeWebBetter Connect allows users to create workflows by connecting apps and platforms using multiple authentication mechanisms when configuring triggers and actions.

Workflows are created using a no-code visual workflow builder, which supports both building workflows from scratch and using prebuilt workflow templates. These workflows enable centralized app integration and automated data synchronization across multiple platforms.

The platform includes free, ready-made workflow templates designed to connect commonly used applications without writing code. Additional templates are unlocked automatically as app connectors are configured, allowing users to activate automation between connected apps with minimal setup.

To create a workflow:

1. Navigate to Workflows from the left-side navigation menu to view the workflow list.
   
2. Click New Workflow to build a workflow from scratch or select a template.
   
3. Select a workflow to open it in the workflow editor, where it can be configured or updated.

Each workflow includes management options accessible via the ellipsis (three-dot) menu, allowing users to:

• Move workflows to folders
  
• Duplicate workflows
  
• Export workflows
  
• Delete workflows

This structure ensures workflows are easy to create, manage, and scale as automation needs grow.

 

If you do not want to import an existing workflow file, MakeWebBetter Connect gives you the option to create a new workflow. This can be done via two methods: 

• By creating a new workflow from scratch 
• By using a pre-built workflow template   

To build a new workflow from scratch in MakeWebBetter Connect, you’ll have to click on the ‘New Workflow’ dropdown on the right again and choose the ‘From Scratch’ option.  

Now, building a workflow from scratch in MakeWebBetter Connect gives you complete control over triggers, actions, and AI-driven decision logic across connected platforms. 

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to create a workflow from scratch in MakeWebBetter Connect 2.0:  

Step 1: Go to Dashboard → Workflows → Create Workflow, then choose Create from Scratch. 

Step 2: Add Trigger

• Choose a Trigger based on your requirement.
• Create or select a Connection.
• Map all required trigger fields.
• Save the configuration.

Step 3: Add Action

• Click Add Action.
• Select the action as per the requirement.
• Create or select the required Connection.
• Map all required fields for the action step.

Step 4: Test the Workflow 

Run Test Step.

• If it fails, fix mappings or errors and re-test.
  
• If it passes, continue.

Step 5: Publish & Verify

Publish the workflow, perform the trigger externally, and confirm success in Runs History.

• Webhooks run instantly
  
• Polling triggers may take up to 10 minutes

With the recent updates, in addition to syncing data, workflows can now include AI-assisted actions such as sending notifications, follow-ups, or internal alerts via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or other connected tools. In addition, AI agents can evaluate context and decide when and how actions should be executed, rather than relying only on static rules. 

Key Workflow Components: 

• App triggers and actions (core and app-specific events)

Triggers and actions are accessed through app connectors, which can be set up while creating the workflow. To start, click Create a workflow from scratch from the app home to open the workflow builder directly. 

If you want to use a pre-built template for your workflow, MakeWebBetter Connect gives you the option to choose from existing templates. To avail this option, you have to click on the ‘New Workflow’ dropdown again and select the ‘Use a Template’ option.   

From there, you can pick the desired workflow template from the provided list. Additionally, each of the pre-built workflow templates comes with predefined triggers and actions, which can be expanded or customized as and when required. 

 

When you navigate to the Workflows section, you can find the option to Import Workflow by clicking on the ‘New Workflow’ dropdown on the right and selecting the ‘From Local File’ option.  

Once you reach here, you can browse to find the required workflow from your device or drag and drop the workflow file to import it. Remember, to import a local workflow file from your system, you need to ensure that it is in the JSON format that MakeWebBetter Connect understands. 

Runs are simply records of when a workflow runs. Every time a workflow starts and stops, it creates one run. In other words, each run shows one time the system tried to carry out a workflow, whether it finished successfully or not. 

All the runs pertaining to your published workflows are displayed in this section. The details of these runs would include: workflow name, status (successful/failed), started at (run date), and duration (time taken by the system to process the workflow).  

From here, you can see the status of your workflows and ‘Retry’ runs on your failed workflows by selecting a workflow and clicking on the ‘Retry’ dropdown on the right. 

The updated version of Connect gives you the option to either retry the run on the latest version or from the exact step where it failed.    

 

In the ‘Issues’ section within workflows, all failed runs of workflows are logged with information on the exact step they failed, the number of unsuccessful runs, the first seen status of the workflow, the last seen status of the workflow, and its current status. 

Notably, as the failed runs are logged in this section, an email is sent to the registered user who ran the workflow to notify them about the unsuccessful run.      

‘Tables’ is a new built-in feature in MakeWebBetter Connect, which is aimed at providing a lightweight and native data source within the automation platform. 

These tables are like simple databases you can create–featuring rows and columns–that your workflows can use to store, retrieve, update, and manage structured data. It eliminates the need to depend on external spreadsheets and databases like Google Sheets and Excel.  

By clicking on the ‘New Table’ option on the right, you can create a new table from scratch and upload all the relevant data for your workflows on the platform. 

Alternatively, you can choose to import an external spreadsheet by clicking on the ‘Import’ option on the top right. Notably, you have to ensure that the table you want to import onto the platform is in the CSV format.   

Todos is a new feature in MakeWebBetter Connect that enables human intervention within automated workflows. While building a workflow, users can add steps that create tasks (todos) requiring manual action or approval before automation continues.

When a workflow creates a todo, it appears in the Todos dashboard, which serves as a centralized view for managing all tasks generated by automations.

Settings Todos in Workflows: 

In the visual workflow builder in MakeWebBetter Connect, click on the ‘+’ add step option, type ‘Todo’ in the search bar before clicking on the ‘Create Todo’ option.

• Moving on, you will be given the option to choose if you want to create an ‘Internal’ todo or send notifications and approval links through external channels by clicking on ‘External Channel’.  

• Once you pick the option you want, click on ‘Add Steps’, and move on to adding other details on the next screen, like the ‘Title’ of the Todo, its ‘Description’, and the specific user or team that you want to assign it to.  
• You can also configure whether the workflow should pause and resume only after the task is completed or continue without pausing.  

The Todos dashboard displays all workflow-generated tasks with details such as: 

• Title 
• Created by (workflow source) 
• Assigned to (user or team) 
• Status (example: needs action or completed) 
• Date created 

Users can filter todos by assignee or title and quickly identify tasks that need action.

‘Todos’ helps teams maintain control over critical steps while keeping workflows automated and efficient. 

 

 

The Connections section in MakeWebBetter Connect manages all authenticated links between your project and external applications. Connections enable Agentic AI and MCP-powered workflows to securely access systems, evaluate context, and execute real actions across your tech stack. 

This section replaces the earlier Apps section and serves as the foundation for reliable, AI-driven automation. 

In MakeWebBetter Connect, you can create connections using secure OAuth-based authentication or supported API-key methods or even Basic authentication. 

You can create a connection: 

• While building workflows (when selecting triggers, actions, or AI-executable steps), or 
• Directly from the Connections page using New Connection 

Once created, connections can be reused across workflows and exposed as MCP-enabled actions for AI agents (more on this later as you scroll down the document). 

The Connections dashboard provides a centralized view of all connected systems, including: 

• App (The connected platform, like HubSpot, Gmail, Slack, etc.) 
• Status (Whether the connection is active or inactive) 
• Owner (The user responsible for establishing the connection) 
• Connected at (The exact time when the connection was established) 
• Workflows (The number of workflows currently using the connection)  

Filters such as Status, Connector, Name, and Owner help manage connections at scale.

From the Connections page, users can: 

• Edit or authorize connections 
• Replace any one of the existing connections without breaking workflows 
• Monitor how many workflows depend on each connection  

If a connection becomes inactive, AI agents and workflows using it will pause or fail until access is restored.  

The MCP Servers feature in MakeWebBetter Connect provides a secure execution layer that allows AI agents to perform real actions across your connected tools—only within the permissions you explicitly define.

These servers help control what AI can access and what actions it’s allowed to perform, making sure automation stays safe and predictable. 

What problem do MCP Servers solve?

Traditional AI tools can analyze data, but they cannot safely:

• Take real actions across systems
• Respect role-based permissions
• Provide full auditability
  

MCP Servers bridge this gap by acting as a controlled gateway between AI and your tools—so AI can move from insight to execution without introducing risk.

When would you use MCP Servers? 

• You want AI to execute real actions across your tools, not just analyze data 
• You need AI to operate across multiple systems (for example, HubSpot, Slack, email) 
• You want clear control over which tools AI can use and what it can change  
• You need audit logs and traceability for AI-driven actions (for compliance, debugging, or review)

Some examples of the same include: 

• AI detects a stalled deal and updates the record in HubSpot, then notifies the sales team in Slack. 
• AI reviews incoming support requests and creates follow-up tasks only when certain conditions are met.

What MCP Servers do NOT do?

MCP Servers do not:

• Allow AI to act outside the tools you explicitly add
• Automatically modify data without a defined action
• Replace workflows or triggers you have configured
• Make irreversible changes without logging them

Every action executed through an MCP Server is:

• • Explicit
  • Logged

• Reviewable

In short, MCP Servers act as a safe execution layer that allows AI to move from insight to action, while keeping you in control of what the AI can do.

Think of an MCP Server as a permission boundary: AI can only see and act through the tools you attach here. When you click New MCP Server, you are taken to the MCP Server configuration screen, where you can set up how AI will interact with your connected tools. 

The Configure tab is where you define the MCP server’s capabilities. 

• Click on ‘Add tool’ to attach tools or integrations that the AI can access 
• Each added tool determines what actions the AI is allowed to perform 
• You can rename the server at the top to easily identify its purpose, for example: “Sales AI – HubSpot + Slack” 

Until tools are added, the server will display “No Tools Added Yet”. 

 

The Connect tab is used to link your MCP Server with external AI tools so they can access and use the server. Connecting an MCP Server authorizes the selected AI client to request actions, but execution still follows the permissions defined in the Configure tab.

From this section, you can select the AI client you want to connect to, such as Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, or other supported tools. Each option provides guided setup steps to complete the connection.  

If you want to connect your MCP Server to an AI tool other than Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf, you can do so using the Server URL provided in the Connect tab. 

To connect, follow these steps: 

• Go to the Connect tab of your MCP Server 
• Select ‘Other’ from the list of AI tools 
• Copy the Server URL shown on the screen
• Paste this URL into the MCP or integration settings of the external AI tool 

Once added, the AI tool can communicate with the MCP Server and access the tools you have configured, within the defined permissions.

Note: When connecting third-party AI tools, ensure you trust the AI client, as it will be able to request actions within the permissions you’ve defined for this MCP Server.

The History tab shows a record of all actions run through the MCP Server. It helps you see what actions were triggered, when they ran, and whether they were successful. It allows administrators to review, troubleshoot, and validate how AI is interacting with connected systems.

This view is useful for checking if AI-triggered actions are working as expected.

What you can check in this section? 

• Action: The task or action that was executed (for example, sending an email)
• Status: Whether the action succeeded or failed 
• Created At: The date and time the action was run 

You can use the search and filter options to quickly find specific actions or review failed runs. 

• Create separate MCP Servers for different teams (Sales, Support, Ops)
• Start with read-only or limited actions and expand gradually
• Use descriptive server names
• Review MCP History regularly, especially after enabling new tools

The Connectors section in MakeWebBetter Connect lets you manage all available app connectors for your project. Connectors define which applications can be used in workflows, connections, and MCP-powered actions. 

This section replaces the earlier App Marketplace and provides more control over which integrations are visible and usable within your project. 

What You Can Do Here?  

From the Connectors page, you can: 

• Browse all available app connectors 
• Search for connectors by name 
• View connector details such as display name, package name, and version 

Each connector represents a supported application that can be connected and used in workflows. 

 

Controlling Connectors

The Control Connectors option allows you to manage which connectors are shown to users: 

• Highlight the connectors most relevant to your use case 
• Hide connectors you don’t want to use 

This is especially useful for teams and enterprise environments where you want a focused, controlled set of integrations.

The Account Settings section lets you manage your personal account preferences and security settings in MakeWebBetter Connect.

From this screen, you can: 

• View account details: See the email address associated with your account 
• Theme: Choose your preferred theme or follow system settings. Apart from default system settings, you can opt for the ‘Light’ or ‘Dark’ theme. 
• Password: Change your password or request a reset link 
• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Enable or disable 2FA to add an extra layer of account security 
• Delete Account: Permanently delete your account if required 

Account Settings help you keep your profile secure and customize how you use the platform.

The Active Sessions section shows all devices and browsers where your account is currently logged in. It helps you monitor account access and quickly revoke sessions you don’t recognize.

In this section, you can: 

• View active sessions with details such as browser, device, last access time, and IP address 
• Revoke a specific session to immediately log that device out 
• Use Revoke all to sign out from all active sessions at once  

Revoking a session immediately ends access from that device, helping keep your account secure. The Active Sessions section gives you full visibility and control over where your account is being used. 

The Project Settings section allows you to manage configuration and access settings for your project.

The General tab is used to manage basic project details:

• Update the Project Name
  
• Save changes to apply updates across the project

The Team tab lets you manage who has access to your project and collaborate with others. 

From this section, you can:

• Invite team members to join the project
• View existing project members
• Track pending invitations and their status 

The Team tab helps ensure the right people have access to collaborate on workflows and automations within the project. 

The Alerts tab lets you manage how and where workflow failure notifications are sent.

From this section, you can add or remove email addresses that should receive alert notifications. 

Notably, Alerts help you stay informed about workflow issues without overwhelming your inbox.

The Invite User option allows you to add new users to your project or platform. 

To invite a user: 

• Enter the user’s email address 
• Select where to invite them (project or entire platform) 
• Choose a platform role (for example, Admin) 
• Click Invite to send the invitation 

Invitations are valid for 24 hours. Once accepted, the user will gain access based on the role and scope selected. This feature makes it easy to collaborate with team members while maintaining control over access levels.  

HubSpot Shopline Integration connects your Shopline store with your HubSpot account so you can sync your store data and manage it over HubSpot CRM. With this app, you can sync your store data like Orders, Contacts, Products on HubSpot for easy data management.

Moreover, this app comes with multiple lists, custom properties and workflows that help you segment and automate your data. On top of that, you can use this Shopline app to forecast your sales, recover abandoned carts and more.

• • To install the app, you need to go to either Shopline or HubSpot marketplace.
  • Install the app on your Shopline dashboard and then go to Apps in your Shopline backend and select HubSpot Shopline Integration. You’ll see the start screen of the app where you can start the set up from.
    
    

• Click on Connect Your Account and you’ll see a popup asking you to select the HubSpot portal you want to connect.
  
  
• Select the HubSpot portal you want to connect and click Choose Account.

• Once you select the account, click on Choose App and your account will be connected.

• Enable two-way sync for contact tags: Enable this toggle to sync your contacts tags from HubSpot CRM to your Shopline store. For example, if you add a contact tag in your HubSpot CRM, by enabling this toggle, it will be synced over Shopline automatically.

• Like Workflows, this section contains multiple lists. You can create these lists in your HubSpot CRM and use them to segment your contacts. 

• This section shows the log details of all the data you’ve synced to HubSpot CRM using this app. These details let you keep track of the data this app has synced and help you track any data sync errors.

• The Activity section shows all the data sync activities that are ongoing as well as completed.

• This section shows all the details of your current plan. You can see your transaction history as well as upgrade or cancel your plan from here.

FormPay Integration with HubSpot lets you accept online payments in HubSpot, anywhere in the world, using your favorite payment gateways. This HubSpot payments app brings a variety of ways to accept online and offline payments, through:

• Native Payment Form Builder.
• HubSpot payment forms, integrated with your desired payment gateways.
• HubSpot Payment links for specific contacts or deals.
• Enable payments in HubSpot Quotes.

The app offers a convenient opportunity for all to accept payments instantly, anywhere. (Even with the free HubSpot Starter version.)

Open the FormPay app.

Click on Get Started button, located at the top left of the FormPay home page.

Register yourself and log in using your HubSpot credentials.

Next, you’re required to confirm your email address through email sent to the email address you used to login.

After email verification, you will be required to sign in and then add a HubSpot portal to the app:

Click on Add New Portal to connect your portal with the app.

Select the HubSpot portal you want to connect with the app on the selection page. Click on Choose Account to select the HubSpot account, and it will be displayed in the app.

If you want to add more portals, repeat the above process. If you want to go ahead with the added portal, simply click on the respected HubSpot portal and you will see a different dashboard for the respective portals.

The plugin setup is now complete. Let us move further and talk about other features of this app.

a. Home

This is the fold section that displays a dashboard where you can see all the information related to your recent & overall transactions. The information displayed can be filtered by date range &  payment gateways that are available to use. If you scroll down, you will find the guidance for FormPay through FAQs, Video Guides, and Documentation.

b. Forms

The forms section enables you to create and manage payment forms within this app.

The payment form builder lets you create native forms and convert your existing HubSpot forms into payment forms. You can also create payment forms in HubSpot by using the app card feature available for contact and deal records.

By clicking the ‘Browse Examples’ at the top right, you can access the form examples that seem ideal for your case.

Note: We recommend that new users connect with us directly so we can help set up the form and gateways, all from experts and for free.

c. Payment Links

FormPay activates a payment link functionality in your HubSpot using App Card, allowing you to generate direct payment links with extensive customization.

It requires a quick setup to activate the Formpay App Card functionality in HubSpot. After that, the payment links can be generated in two ways:

• Contacts
• Deals
  

Note: We’ll learn more about this later in the section ‘How to create a Payment Link in HubSpot?’.

The payment link generation can also be automated using the HubSpot workflows. This automation and payment link distribution can be triggered by employing the dedicated payment properties and subscription properties created by FormPay. 

Furthermore, all the payment links generated can be monitored in FormPay itself and in the App Card under the timeline overview section of the deals & contacts record in HubSpot.

Click on the tooltip icon under the ‘Actions’ tab, on the left of the payment link.

To copy the payment link or delete it, click on the three dots (ellipsis) button.

d. Products

The app facilitates product creation and also serves as a product library. All the products that you have mapped will be added to this directory. You can search for them by product name.

There are two types of products that you can create in FormPay. It is determined on the basis of billing frequency:

1. One-Time
2. Recurring – Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually, & Annually.

•  Choose One-Time from the drop-down under the Billing Frequency column.
• Once done, click the Create Product button on the top right.
  To set up a subscription product, select a billing frequency – Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually, or Annually. These choices will activate additional fields.

If you pick “Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually, or Annually” in the Billing Frequency column, you’ll have two options for Billing Start Date.

1. Opt for “At Payment” to have the billing date consistent with the first payment received in each cycle.
2. Choose “Delayed Start (days)” if you prefer to specify the delay in Billing Start Days.

Use the column to indicate the number of days for the initial billing delay. Once done, click the Create Product button on the top-right corner.

 

You can always edit the product you have created later. Go to the Products tab and find all the existing products. Simply click the pencil icon next to the product name, and it will open the product editor. From there, you can manage and change the product name, price & description.

e.  Transaction & Subscription

All the transactions made through your HubSpot forms and links will be listed here. You will be able to view all the details of each transaction performed.

The details regarding each transaction — date, amount, payment reference ID, buyer’s email address, payment method, and transaction status can be monitored here. Furthermore, you can filter this data and find out the test & live payment links.

If you switch to the Subscription tab, you will find all the details about your subscription. These details include the subscriber’s email, subscription status, billing cycle, date, amount, payment mode and further detailed information about the subscription. Click the Tooltip button (ℹ️) to access the raw details.

In addition to this, you can manage the subscriptions.

• You have the option to Cancel Subscription.
• Using the Send Email option, you can communicate regarding the subscription.

f. Coupons

This section lets you generate discount coupon codes applicable as you define them through the coupon settings.

The following are the steps to create a coupon in FormPay:

• Navigate to Coupons and click + Create Coupon in the top right corner.
• Then, on the next page decide on and fill in the following fields.

• • Click Regenerate if you’d like to get a fresh coupon.
  • Coupon Type: Decide if you want a percentage or a fixed discount.
  • Discount Value: Enter the amount in digits. You can offer up to 100% discount and even 100% of the total value.
  • Coupon Description: Define the discount coupon (eligibility & conditions).
  • Coupon Limit per Customer: Restrict the number of times each customer can use a coupon.
  • Toggle Coupon Limit: Click this to limit the number of times the coupon can be used. Also, you can decide which products you want to avail this coupon. Enter a number in the desired fields.
  • Product Limitation: Select from the list of already created products. Choosing this will allow discount applicability only on the product selected. Otherwise, the coupon is applicable to all products.
  • Form Limitation: Choose the Form for which you want to create this discount. Otherwise, the coupon is applicable to all forms.
  • Customer Restriction: Enter the email addresses of the customers for whom you wish to allow this coupon. Not entering any email address will allow all your customers to claim the coupon.
  • Toggle Expiry: Decide the expiration date of the coupon. 
  • Minimum Amount: Lastly, you can decide on the minimum purchase amount required to claim the coupon.

Finally, click Submit, and your coupon will be created successfully.

g.Quotes

Quotes payments by FormPay can be enabled within HubSpot itself.

To enable quote payments using FormPay, you’ll get a ‘custom quote module’ which has to be uploaded in your HubSpot.

Here’s how you can proceed with this:

• First, make sure you have set up your desired payment gateway within FormPay.
• Then, create a FormPay form and select the gateway.
• Obtain your FormPay custom quote module from us (if you haven’t received it yet).
• Upload the module in your HubSpot.
• After this, navigate to the particular CRM record (contact, company, or deal) that you want to create the quote for.
• In the right sidebar, in the Quotes section, click + Add.

• After clicking + Add.
  • Select Deal.
  • Select the Quote Template that is published using the FormPay module.
  • Select Contact.
  • Enter your information.
  • Add line items.
  • Select the ‘no payments’ option in the Payment section.
  • Review & Publish Quote.

Connect with us if you find it troublesome. We will upload the module to your portal on your behalf and make a customized quote template. After that you can create quotes yourself using this customized quote template.

a. Gateways

This section shows all the payment gateways this app supports. If your desired gateway is not listed, please connect with us. The gateway will be added to the app by our team.

Currently, FormPay facilitates the following payment gateways:

• Amazon Pay
• Paypal
• Adyen
• Stripe
• RazorPay
• PayU
• Authorize.net

You also get an option to accept offline payments and enable your customer to pay later after the actual checkout process.

Additionally, enabling Stripe payment gateway allows you to accept payments through Apple Pay, Google Pay, Line Pay, Klarna BNPL, and other payment modes (wherever applicable).

To activate a payment gateway:

• Navigate to the Gateways tab.
• Click the Setup button under the payment gateway of your choice.
• This action will take you to the Payment Gateway setup page and you can fill in the required details there.

Note: The process to obtain the account key details is mentioned on the right side for every gateway.

• Choose the Test Account or Live Account Details.
  • Merchant ID
  • Store ID
  • Public Key ID
  • Test/Live Private Key File

• You can add a few more account details in some gateways.
  • Payment Region
  • Payment Currency
  • Button Language
  • Button Color
  • Product Type

b. Payments

The payment section showcases your current plan and the option to switch between the monthly and yearly FormPay plans, priced at $49/month & $499/month respectively.

This page also informs you about all the features that come with your FormPay plan. Although, both the plans have all the same features, only the annual plan pricing is discounted. (You get a 7-day free trial to try them out before purchasing a plan.)

c. User Accounts
This section lets you modify your account details. You get four tabs here.

• General
• Change Password
• Billing
• Integrations

1) General

In this section, you can change the basic details of your account like First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number, and Street Address.

2) Change Password

As the name suggests, you can change the password of your account. Simply, enter you old password and provide the new one & confirm.

3) Billing

From this section, you can upgrade your plan.

• Click Basic Plan, or Premium Plan, and then click Explore Plan on the top right.
• If you need a custom plan, then click Contact Us.

If you’re an existing FormPay user, then you can access your Billing History here.

4) Integrations

FormPay offers integration options for you to sync the payment data with your desired platform.

The FormPay Xero integration facilitates data sync between the two and eases up accounting processes. To set up this integration:

• Go to the FormPay app.
• Then, navigate to User Accounts from the sidebar.

• Then, go to the Integrations tab.
• Now, click Authorize Now button. Then, you will be redirected to Xero’s webpage.

The comprehensive payment form builder offers a range of functionalities and configurations.

When creating a payment form, make sure you have your desired gateway integration configured. Otherwise, you can also use the offline payment mode to receive. Moreover, you also have the option to enable the Direct Submission toggle.

Here’s how to create a form in FormPay.

• Navigate to the Forms Tab from the sidebar.
• Click on the + Create a New Form button in the top-right corner.
• Next, you will be inside the Payment Form builder.

Creating a Payment Form

Choose one of the two options to proceed:

• FormPay Form Editor: Build a new payment form.
• HubSpot Form Editor: Convert your existing HubSpot form into a payment form.

The interface of the payment form builder for both the options (FormPay Form Editor & HubSpot Form Editor) is different from the other one.

FormPay Form Editor

FormPay Form Editor let’s your build a form from scratch, where you can include custom fields to capture details of your customers/donors.

• Once inside Form Builder, start building your form by adding and editing your form fields.

To add fields, simply click on the specific field (on the left, under the ‘ADD FIELD’ section) — Text Input, Email, Input, Number Input, Dropdown Select, Text Area, and Checkbox. After selecting the desired form fields, you change the Label of the field (name it, e.g., Full Name, Contact Number) and add a Placeholder (suggest input).

You can simply use drag-and-drop functionality if you want to rearrange or change the position of the field in your form. Find the ‘Remove Field’ button at the bottom of the ‘Edit Field’ section if you want to remove the field.

• Once done, click on the ‘Save’ button at the top right of the page to move to the next step of the payment form setup.

• Next, click on the Form tab, and start setting up the rest of the payment and form configurations.

• After this, switch to the Integration tab. Here, you can map the form fields with the connected HubSpot account (for which the information will be stored within the specific HubSpot contact records). Click Save and move to the next tab.

The rest of the setup is the same for both the Form Editor (FormPay Form Editor & HubSpot Form Editor) and is discussed further in the documentation.

HubSpot Form Editor

HubSpot Form Editor allows you to edit the existing forms that you have created in your HubSpot account (integrated with FormPay).

Here, you just have to select a HubSpot Form from the dropdown and proceed with the form setup.

Payment Form Setup

a. Form Settings

The first is Form Settings. In this section, you will get the options to set up:

• Form name: Add a name to the HubSpot Payment form you are creating.
• Select HubSpot form: Select a regular HubSpot form you want to convert into a payment form.

Note: Only the Form Settings & Integration settings in the FormPay Form Editor are different from the HubSpot Form Editor. The rest of the setup is the same.

b. Donation Form Settings

1. Donation Form Settings
2. Transaction Cost Settings
3. Payment Settings (Alternate)

The process to create a Donation Form is discussed in the section below. As some settings behave differently when you toggle donation form settings. Also, a few features are accessible and inaccessible when you do so.

c. Coupon Form Settings

The coupons you have created can be added to the payment form, enabling your users who are aware of the coupon availability. This option is not ideal when you choose donation settings; thus, it’s inapplicable and disabled with donation settings.

Only the already created coupons can be added to the form. The procedure to create a coupon is discussed above in this documentation. You can also create a coupon exclusive to the form after you have created the form.

d. Direct Form Submission

Enabling the direct form submission settings allows your users to submit the form without actually making any payment. This setting is specifically designed for Offline payment settings (selected in the Payment Method tab), allowing you to track offline payments in HubSpot and create an object record for offline payments.

This setting will disable all other settings & tabs — donation form settings, coupon form settings, payment method, transaction charge settings, and subscription settings.

e. Redirection Settings & Thank You Settings

If you toggle on Redirection Settings, then after making a payment, the customer will be redirected to the page you desire (which can be your Home Page). You also have the option to custom-create a Thank You page by choosing the respective toggle right next to redirection settings.

This section lets you add a URL to which the end user will be redirected after making the payment.

• Toggle – Enable toggle to choose if you want the user to be redirected to a specific page.
• Redirect URL – Enter the Page URL.

The second option you have for a follow-through after the payment has been completed is the Thank You page. If you wish to implement the Thank You page settings, then you can customize the page appearance with texts (Back Button Text, Page Title, Subtitle, & Description) and an image. Moreover, you can assign a link in the back button to redirect the user to a specific page.

f. Dynamic Amount Settings

The Dynamic Amount Settings is an ideal option to suggest a payment amount.

Note: The custom amount setting under the ‘Payment Amount Setting’ can only be utilized if you have enabled the subscription settings.

So, for those who don’t fit into the “donation or charity” criteria and need to display suggested amounts as per their requirement, then this setting enables you to directly reflect those suggestions on the payment page.

g. HubSpot form submission settings

This setting allows you to keep a record of and track failed transactions, right within HubSpot. 

Activating the ‘Enable Abandoned Cart’ toggle will help create a contact record for that failed transaction, and you can view this information in the ‘Activities tab’ timeline events of that particular contact.

h. Payment Settings

This section will let you enter the payment amount you want to receive with your form.

• Allow custom amount toggle: To add multiple amounts to your form, you can enable this toggle.
• Custom amount: Enter the amount you want to set as a default amount for your payment form. If you don’t enable the custom amount toggle, you will see this option as Enter Amount.
• Suggested amount: This option lets you add multiple payment values to your form. Just add a value and hit Enter, and then repeat the process to add multiple values in your form.
• Enable test mode toggle: If you want to test your form, enable this toggle.

Note: You must only create and add a custom amount when creating a donation form. Or if it suits your business style.

 i. Transaction Charge Settings

Under the transaction charge settings, you can decide on the per-transaction cost for your customers. This charge can be levied based on a percentage or a fixed value. It is generally used alongside the Donation Form Settings.

j. Payment Method

Here, you get to decide which active payment gateway you want to employ to receive payments through the form you are creating. Those gateways that you have already activated will be accessible here.

Besides the multiple gateway options, you can also choose Offline as the payment option. 

Simply click the check box next to the gateways & other options to choose the desired.

k. Subscription Settings

Note: Recurring payments can only be enabled by choosing either Stripe or Authorize.net as your payment gateway.

l. Payment Tab

When you are done setting up the form, you can switch to the Payment tab.  Here, you can enable your customers to pay using Apple Pay or Google Pay with an app payment URL redirect. Again, this is only possible if you choose the Stripe gateway when setting up the form.

• Stripe Card
• Stripe Session

If your chosen payment method is Stripe or PayPal, then you have the following set of settings.

If you have chosen Stripe as your gateway in the previous tab, then here you will find a different set of settings related to payments, along with Tax Settings.

Note: Choosing Stripe Session will allow you to add multiple line items (including different subscription products with different billing frequencies).

m. Config

The Config settings will allow deciding on the styling & language &  the payment form with color customization and its appearance.

Click the Pop-up Payment button. Enabling this will convert your entire form into a single button, which will only display the ‘Pay’ button.

Furthermore, you can choose a theme color for the pay button according to your branding and change the Pay Button Text (Donate, Download, Book, etc). This Pay Button can be embedded anywhere (webpage or email).

If the buyer clicks this Pay button, then the user will be redirected to the payment page, consisting of the entire payment form.

Enabling the toggle under  FormPay Branding settings will disable all the FormPay branding from the payment form that you create.

Below this, you’ll find the options to further customize with Form Language Settings. You’ll be able to select from the following language options English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Turkish, Dutch, Persian, Polish, and Filipino.

n. Products

Switching to the Product Tab, when creating a form, simply means you want the form to be associated with a particular product.

• Enable the Allow Custom Product toggle in the Custom Product Settings.
  Enabling custom products will disable all other product settings.

• Enable the Show Dropdown toggle.

To enable a Drop-down, you must add at least two products, and at least one product should be set as the default.

• Enter Product Settings.

Under this, you choose the products that you wish to display. Also, you add a custom amount of the product.

• Click on the dropdown to select and search for the products.
• Choose the desired product. If you want users to buy only a single unit of the product, click on the checkbox next to  Only allow to select single product option.
  

• If you’re adding multiple products in the same form, you can choose a product as a Default Product or an Optional Product. Moreover, you have the option to allow customers to buy multiple products with the Allow Quantity Changes option.

o. Deal

Enabling the deal toggle creates a deal in your HubSpot for the following payment form. You can also define the traits of the deal, like the deal name, sales pipeline, and deal stage.

Once done, click on the Publish Form button. Your form is successfully created now.

You will be able to view the preview of the form created.

Creating a Donation Form

To create a donation form, 

• Click on the + Create New Form button in the top-right corner.
• Choose the following form settings.
  • Create Form Name.
  • Choose a HubSpot Form to modify.
• Toggle Donation Form Setting.

Begin by enabling the Donation Forms Settings Toggle.

1. Donation Form Setting

This section allows you to turn your form into a donation form.

• Donation form toggle: Enable this toggle to turn your form into a donation form and unlock the rest of the settings in this section.
• Title: Add your donation form title here.
• Description: Add your donation form description here.
• Logo: Upload your donation form logo here.
• Show/Hide in memory of: If you want to have a section where users can dedicate their donation to someone, enable this toggle.

When enabling donation form settings, customize your donation form with a title & description, upload an image (i.e., brand logo), and customize donate now.

Moreover, you can enable the Donation Memory Label toggle. 

• Donation memory label: Add content for your donation memory label.
• Donate button text: Add text for your donation button.

2. Transaction Cost Settings

• Next, you can decide on the transaction cost.
  • Transaction Charge Type: Define if you want it to be fixed or variable.
  • Transaction Charge Value: The variable amount charged will be based on a fixed unit amount.

3. Payment Settings

• Toggle: Click the toggle to enable the custom amounts option for your users.
• Custom Amount: Add a default amount to be displayed on the page.
• Suggested Amount: Add some suggested amounts that would be displayed as suggestions to the donors. (Recommended 3 or 6)

Since receiving donations does not involve any kind of product or a discount. This is why the two above-discussed features, i.e., Coupon Code Settings & Products Settings, are cut off when you opt for Donation Form Settings.

• Then, choose if you want to redirect the donor to a specific URL after completing payment.
  • Next, choose your preferred payment gateway (activate the payment gateway from the Gateways tab).  Please note that you can select payment gateways with one currency type.
  • Under Theme Settings, you can choose a theme color.

Finally, click Publish Form.

Share Form

Once you have created a form. You can share your form using a Form URL or Embed Code on the desired landing page.

Find it on the right above the preview of the published form.

Note: You can customize the form from the preview itself. If you want to change a field, say Total Amount to Gross Amount, simply click on it.

You can generate a payment link in HubSpot for contacts and deals using App Cards.

The FormPay App Card provides the easy-to-use payment link functionality, accessible as a tab in the timeline events (Overview) section of the HubSpot record (Contacts, Deals, etc). 

Earlier, the ‘Create Payment Link’ functionality was enabled through the CRM Card section. However, the Classic CRM Cards are to be discontinued by HubSpot. This deprecation process began on June 16, 2025; no new apps in the HubSpot App Marketplace are allowed to include Classic CRM Cards, and developers will no longer be able to add new ones to the HubSpot UI.

By October 31, 2026, existing apps that use Classic CRM Cards must be migrated to the newer, more flexible App Cards built with React.

This requires the following setup beforehand.

In the FormPay app,

• Make sure you’ve created your FormPay account, registered using your HubSpot account, and connected your HubSpot portal.

In HubSpot,

• Log in to HubSpot using the same account/portal that you used for the FormPay App signup.
• Once inside HubSpot, click on the ⚙ (Settings button) located at the top.
• After this, in the scrollable menu on the right, go to Data Management > Object > Contacts.

• Then, click on the Record Customization tab in Contacts.
• Next, click on the Default View team view.

• On the next page, you will be able to customize (add, remove, arrange) the tabs in your Contact Timeline Event > Overview section.
• To add the FormPay app card in the Contact Event Overview tabs, simply hover above the top tab and then click Add Card.

• After this, the Card Library will slide in from the right.

• Type ‘FormPay’ in the Search cards box.
• Next, click + Add Card button under “FormPay Payment”.

• By following this setup, you’ll be able to access the FormPay App Card in the Timeline Events Overview section of your contacts.

a. Create Deal Payment Link

A unique Payment Link for every Deal can be created in HubSpot by utilizing the FormPay App Card feature. By accessing this feature from the deal record, you can create a deal payment link. Here’s how:

• Navigate to Sales > Deals in your HubSpot account.
• Click on the Deal you want to create a payment link for.

• Click Create Payment Link under the FormPay Payments app card.

• Here, you have to choose the payment settings —
  • Gateways: Select gateway of your choice.
  • Default Gateway: Select default gateways of the link form.
  • Select Contact: Choose email address of the contact.
  • Currency: Choose the currency oin which the transactions are to be made,
  • Payment Type: One-time & Recurring payment.
  • Enter Amount: Amount to be paid.
  • Allow Transaction Charge Toggle: Additional charges to be levied.
  • Show Line Items: Show product details alongside the payment.
  • Allow Coupons: The coupons created in FormPay.
  • Allow Partial Payment: This enables the customers to payment the partial amount. (You can decide on the minimum amount to be paid.)
  • Form Language Settings: Select language of the payment form.

Now, switch to Payment Settings and choose Stripe Card & Stripe Session to allow the preferred payment methods.

Switching to the Advance Settings tab, allows you to apply branding to your payment link page.

Here, you can decide on Recipient Name under which the payment will be received. Also, the redirection settings, theme settings & URL settings can be controlled from here.

Note: Advance Settings are required only once. You will find this section already auto-filled when you create links later on.

Once done, customize the payment page to match your branding and click Save.

Finally, move back to the Gateway Settings tab and click Create Payment Link.

b. Create Contact Payment Link

The process to create a payment link for a specific contact, is no different from the process we follow in deals. Here’s how to create a contact-specific payment link:

• Navigate to Contacts in your HubSpot account.

• Click on the contact record you want to create a payment link for.

• Click Create Payment Link under the FormPay Payment app card.

• Continue, the process as discussed above in the “Create Deal Payment Link” section. Refer to this for detailed process to create payment link for HubSpot contact using FormPay functionality.

Receive payments through customized quote templates within HubSpot. You can custom-create detailed quotes in HubSpot and embed direct payment buttons in the quote. This enables you to obtain the e-sign & the payment together.

Note: Your portal must have Legacy Quote Support to accept payment by HubSpot Quotes.

To access this feature in HubSpot connect with us and we’ll add this FormPay module to your HubSpot portal as requested. Once you have this module activated in your HubSpot account, create Quotes and you’ll have the option to receive payment through FormPay. Here’s how to create a Quote with payment functionality in HubSpot:

• Navigate to Quotes in your HubSpot account.
• Choose from the existing ones or click ‘Create quote’.

•  When choosing a Quote Template, click FormPay.
• Choose a Deal or create a new Deal.
• Hit Next and choose the buyer info, your info, and the line items to be included in the quote.

• Choose No Payment in the payment options and Publish.

Once done, create an email with this Quote and share it with your client. Your client will only be able to complete payment when they click “Agree to pay”.

You’ll be able to view the transaction within FormPay when your client completes the payment against the Quote.

Also, the Quote name in HubSpot records will be automatically changed to paid as <Quote Name-paid>.

Workflows

• Navigate to Automation > Workflows in your HubSpot account.
• Click Create Workflows and choose From Scratch from the drop-down.
• Then, choose Data Values > Record meets a set of filter conditions.
• Next, click to choose Deal under Choose a type of record that can enroll. After this, choose is won from the dropdown.
• Then, click Next and Save and continue.

• Next, choose the action to this trigger by clicking the + ‘plus’ button.

• Scroll down to the bottom to find the action “Create Deal Payment Link – FormPay” under FormPay by MakeWebBetter.
• Now choose the desired gateway and payment type (one-time or recurring). And click Save.
• Then, assign another action to share this deal link with respective contacts. Choose Send Email. (Craft a personalized email beforehand for the same. Make sure to insert the FormPay token in the email. This way, the contacts will receive the email for the respective deal.)

Tracking in HubSpot

You can monitor transaction status in a detailed manner under specific Contacts & Deals from timeline events & the dedicated FormPay App Card.

• In your HubSpot account, go to the respective deal or contact.

• Find every transaction detail in the timeline events overview.

On the right, scroll down and find the App Card called FormPay Payment. Here, you can access all such details by switching between:

• Payment Links: Name, Amount, Customer, Payment Method, Status, Creation Date, and Actions.
• Payments: Amount, Date, Reference Id, Payment Status, and Payment Method.
• Subscription: Customer, Email, Status, Billing Cycle, Date, Amount, Mode, Actions.

  a. Uninstalling FormPay Integration From HubSpot

Follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall FormPay from your HubSpot:

• Open HubSpot.
• Navigate to Reporting > Dashboard > Integrations.

• Search “FormPay by MakeWebBetter” app.
• Next, click on Actions drop-down button in the FormPay app card.
• Then, click the Uninstall button.

• Type uninstall in the box as shown in the screenshot above.
• Finally, click on the Uninstall button.

b. Disconnecting FormPay Integration From App Dashboard

Follow the steps mentioned below to disconnect the HubSpot integration from the FormPay app:

• Go to the FormPay app.
• On the top left corner, you’ll see the HubSpot Portal Name and ID number that is currently active.

• Click on the delete icons right next to the portal name & ID and the Portal will be disconnected successfully.

c. How the Users’ HubSpot Accounts and Data is affected upon uninstalling and disconnecting FormPay?

Uninstalling or disconnecting the app will affect the FormPay Data in the User’s HubSpot account.

• Stop current FormPay forms from working if they have been used anywhere.
• Custom properties created in the portal would remain unaffected.
• Deals or contacts created/updated from FormPay will continue to reflect in the portal.
• FormPay will be removed from the timeline activity in deal & Contact
• The FormPay App Card option on the right side will be removed and become inaccessible in deals, contacts, or anywhere within the HubSpot as and when the app is uninstalled.

Disconnecting the integration from FormPay app will affect the FormPay Data in the User’s HubSpot account.

• Stop current FormPay forms from working if they have been used anywhere.
• Custom properties created in the portal would remain unaffected.

• You can go to either HubSpot or BigCommerce marketplace and search for the HubSpot BigCommerce integration.
• Click on the GET THIS APP button on the page.
• You’ll be asked to log in to your store if you haven’t already. Login to the store and you’ll land on the app’s page.
• Click on the Install button to install the app on your store.

• You’ll be asked to enter your login credentials. Enter it, select your account and enable the compliance checkbox and then click Confirm.

• Now you can start setting up your HubSpot BigCommerce app. First you need to connect your HubSpot portal with the app. Click on Connect your account to do that. You can create a HubSpot account if you don’t have one.

• The next step involves connecting your HubSpot account to the BigCommerce HubSpot Integration.

This section helps you segment your customers based on their buying behavior. There are 3 criteria in this section:

• Recency: Days since last order placed.
• Frequency: Total orders placed.
• Monetary: total amount spent.

You can set values for these criteria and based on these values, your customers will get a rating from 1 to 5. These ratings will help you segment your customers. For example, the customer with a rating score of 5 will be your high-paying customer while the customer with 1 rating will be your low spenders.

Select your desired HubSpot deal stage you want to map with your BigCommerce order status. This will help you select which stage an order will go in HubSpot if the order status is changed in your BigCommerce store.

Enabling this toggle will add the HubSpot tracking script to your website.

The first step is to connect a store. Click on the Stores button to start connecting the WooCommerce store with the Automated Coupon app.

 

Herein, you have the option to add your WooCommerce store.

• Click on Create New Store.

• Select WooCommerce from the drop-down. (Currently, you have the store integration option for WooCommerce automated coupons, but you can connect with us if you require a custom store integration with Automated Coupons.)

With the Automated Coupons for WooCommerce app, you can also edit or disconnect the connected Woo store.

  • Random Characters: Autogenerated text for uniqueness.
  • Suffix: Preset defined characters of the coupon.
  • Format: Sequence of above four.

• Select product associations (brand, category or certain product) to which the coupon applies:

Once, you have filled all the fields. Click Save. You will be able to access this coupon rule in the respective Coupon Rules tab, where you can edit or delete the coupon rules. Now, the coupon rule will generate automated coupons for WooCommerce store.

This section lists all the coupons generated for your WooCommerce store based the coupon rules you created on the Automated Coupons app. The list details about number of total coupons offered in your subscribed package and the number of coupons used.

The Configurations tab showcases all the accounts linked to the HubSpot account, using which you have signed up for the Automated Coupons app. Here, you can manage and authorize role-based access to create coupons for HubSpot contacts using the Automated Coupons app App Card.

You can update or modify the basic details of your account from this section. The editable fields include –

Click on Save Details when done.

You can manage your account password here with the Automated Coupons for WooCommerce app. Go to User Account and switch to Change Password. Enter your existing (old) password and then create a new password, followed by a confirmation in the next field.

In the billing section, you can review your active plans along with your transaction history and the option to cancel or upgrade your subscription plan.

App Card

Automated Coupons has a functionality within HubSpot to create contact-specific coupons. Using the HubSpot App Card feature, you can create HubSpot automated coupons for WooCommerce contacts.

The app card is simply an easy-to-access section, accessible as tabs in the timeline events (Overview) of the HubSpot contacts records. The Automated Coupons app leverages this setup to enable you to create coupons, specifically for your HubSpot contacts.

Previously, the ‘Create Coupon’ functionality was present in the CRM Cards section. However, the Classic CRM Cards are to be discontinued by HubSpot. This deprecation process will begin June 16, 2025; no new apps in the HubSpot App Marketplace will be allowed to include Classic CRM Cards, and developers will no longer be able to add new ones to the HubSpot UI.

By October 31, 2026, existing apps that use Classic CRM Cards must be migrated to the newer, more flexible App Cards built with React.

To create coupons and access the Automated Coupons App Card feature in HubSpot, you must first configure the setup discussed below.

In the Automated Coupons App,

• First, make sure you have connected your HubSpot account & portal with the Automated Coupons app.
• Then connect your store with the app. And you will be able to view the Automated Coupons’ App Card feature in your contact.

In HubSpot,

• Log in to HubSpot with the same account/portal used for the Automated Coupons App signup.
• Once inside HubSpot, click on the ⚙ (Settings button) located at the top.

After this, in the scrollable menu on the right, go to Data Management > Object > Contacts.

• Then, click on the Record Customization tab in Contacts.
• Next, click on the Default View team view.

• On the next page, you will be able to customize (add, remove, arrange) the tabs in your Contact Timeline Event > Overview section.
• To add the Automated Coupons app card in the Contact Event Overview tabs, simply hover above the top tab and then click Add Card.

• After this, the Card Library will slide in from the right.

• Type ‘Coupon’ in the Search cards box.

• Next, click + Add Card button under “Coupon Code – MWB”.

• By following this setup, you’ll be able to access the Automated Coupons App Card in the Timeline Events Overview section of your contacts.

Once you’ve set up the Automated Coupons App Card through HubSpot Contacts settings, you can create coupons for your contacts.

To create a coupon for your contacts using the Automated Coupons App Card, follow the steps below:

• Navigate to the particular HubSpot Contact for whom you want to create a coupon.

• Click on the Create Coupon button.

• Select the Source and Store URL from the drop-down. (HubSpot will fetch your store URL automatically as you have connected your store to our app.)

• Then, fill in these fields in the modal: a unique coupon code, discount type, discount amount, expiration (or always active), restrictions of applicability (applies to brands, products, categories), and usage limits. Furthermore, you have the option to create a dedicated HubSpot property for this coupon. Moreover, you also have the other coupon option to ‘Exclude sale items’, ‘Allow free shipping’, and ‘Individual use only’. (All his serves the same purpose as it does in the app.) 
• Finally, click on the Create New Coupon button at the bottom.

Now, you can send this coupon to a contact via email or a preferred medium. Moreover, you can set up an email sequence to send, follow up, or upsell using this coupon. 

The plan you purchase for the Automated Coupons app determines the number of coupons that can be created using the app. The following are the limits.
